This mode takes into account the angle of your club on impact for the ball trajectory and amount of slice or hook that is applied. 
You can choose to turn this on for putting only or for all clubs via the settings menu in the clubhouse or whilst on the course. 
This mode requires a lot of practise to get consistent but is also more realistic.
